Pair of antique French blue glass apothecary jars 10¼"

SKU: 18331

US$592
These two antique French pharmacy jars date from the late nineteenth / early twentieth century. The blue glass is relatively rare, as are the gold leaf labels that read "sulfur sublimat:" and "alumen ustum". Note that the labels are behind glass (one label is cracked as seen in photographs). These will make a lovely addition to a curiosity cabinet and are a fun collectable to display in a bathroom or powder room.

Heavy wear and rustic condition consistent with age and use.
Approx. overall 10¼" high x 3½" diameter each
Approx. overall 26cm high x 9cm diameter each
