An unusual pair of large square garden planters dating from the 1920's/30's. They are most likely French and are decorated with foliage motifs. There is a painted white and faded red finish. Chips and wear particularly to feet and some reinforcement has worn through on the outside. Very heavy as they are made from reinforced concrete.

Condition and wear consistent with age and use.
Each measures approx. 17" x 17" x 21¼" high
Each measures approx. 43cm x 43cm x 54cm high
