This soupière dates to the early 1900’s. It is in excellent condition and is a rich cream colour. There is a pattern around the brim and on the lid with swan motifs and foliage. There is a maker’s mark underneath which reads Compiegne KsG Luneville. The Luneville Faience dates to 1730 and is one of the most famous pottery makers in France.
