The central basket is especially appealing, with a fine trellis of beaded strands stretched across the open montgolfière form, creating a light, lace-like structure that catches the light. Six curved metal arms extend around the lower section, each fitted with a textured pressed-glass drip pan, while further bead swags, prisms and hanging drops continue through the upper crown and lower basket, emphasizing the chandelier’s vertical form.

The chandelier has plenty of sparkle, but the open framework keeps it from feeling heavy. The contrast between the warm gilt metal and clear glass gives it a subtly glamorous presence, while the beaded lattice around the central basket adds a delicate decorative rhythm. Its generous scale and layered construction make it decorative from every angle, bringing height and shimmer to an entryway, formal dining room or richly layered bedroom, with a distinctly mid-century Italian sense of glamour.

Condition and patina consistent with age.
Must be rewired and installed in accordance with local electrical requirements.
Approx. overall 37" high x 28¾" diameter
Approx. overall 94cm high x 73cm diameter

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/1166/6698/files/DSC09457_f8688d94-123e-4cec-819d-3b107ed44d09.jpg?v=1790853502
https://www.chezpluie.com/products/950s-italian-balloon-form-chandelier-w-lace-like-glass-bead-trellis-37
