The decorative brass base and the preserved elements of the original oil-burning mechanism at the neck echo the warm gilding of the ceramic. The single light is topped with a broad custom-made shade in washed linen, in a warm ochre tone with a subtle olive-green cast, chosen to complement the gold tones of the decoration.\u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003cdiv\u003eThe lamp has been carefully converted and electrified in Saint-Rémy-de-Provence by a passionate specialist in historic lighting who works closely with Mathieu Lustrerie, the renowned Provençal atelier known internationally for the restoration and recreation of important historic lighting, including pieces for the Château de Versailles, Opéra Garnier and other major French monuments.
