Its curved, bow-fronted form is characteristic of French provincial furniture at its most considered — practical in a corner, yet shapely enough to hold its own in a room. Two arched raised-panel doors, framed with moulded detail, meet at a central stile with a small keyhole escutcheon, and the whole piece rests on turned bun feet.
