The pale blue-gray paint has weathered beautifully, with rubbing, oxidation and rust developed through long exposure outdoors. The mechanism rises from a substantial conical roof fitting, probably made to cap the summit of a small turret, pigeonnier or other pointed roof. \u003cbr\u003e\n\u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003cdiv\u003e With its generous proportions, faded paint and wonderfully weathered surface, the piece has a strong sculptural quality.
