The aged gilding has a warm, softly mottled surface that contrasts beautifully with the fresh, jewel-like glass, which shows no visible damage.\u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003cdiv\u003eThe chandelier is fitted with two central lights aligned along the vertical axis of the frame: a candle-style light below and a second light mounted upside down in the upper section. They can be operated separately, allowing the chandelier to shift from a softer glow to a brighter overall illumination. It has been carefully restored and rewired in Saint-Rémy-de-Provence by a passionate specialist in historic lighting working closely with Mathieu Lustrerie, the renowned Provençal atelier specializing in the restoration and creation of fine lighting.
