Two sets of triangular stretchers brace the legs at mid-height and near the base, giving the whole structure a tensile, almost architectural quality. The metal has aged to a warm, dusty brown, the surface carrying the honest patina of years spent outdoors in the Provençal sun.\u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003cdiv\u003eAt Chanteduc, the guéridon stands at the entrance to the courtyard beside the iconic Provence-green painted shutters and gates, where a pot of seasonal blooms greets arriving guests.
