This rustic zinc rooster dates to the 19th century. The patina is original and unrestored. There is a hole in the beak, which was used for lighting. It is likely that this weathervane came from a boutique rooftop. The stem slides into a stand on a circular base which has been recently made. Dents and wear reflective of age, refer to photos.
