Champagne bucket (Besserat de Bellefon)

A modern Besserat de Bellefon champagne bucket with handles. This ice bucket is large enough to chill three bottles and is branded on both sides.

Besserat de Bellefon champagne is said to have the finest bubbles, 30% smaller than other champagnes. In 1930 the Director of the La Samaritaine de Luxe restaurant said "Make me a Champagne wine that is sufficiently smooth to accompany an entire meal and I will order 1,000 bottles instead of 100".
