Large Aubusson tapestry - soldier with spear - 17th century 107½" x 61¾"

This beautifully woven Aubusson tapestry dates from the late seventeenth century. A soldier holds a spear, framed with fruit and flowers. They blue, brown and beige tones ae superb. It is timeworn and has been repaired here and there. Wool and silk.
