Vintage French chestnut grilling pot 6¾"

This charming little perforated pot dates from the nineteenth-century and is probably from the Ardeche region. Originally used for grilling chestnuts. It has a wonderful handmade and sculptural appeal and chocolate brown glaze. There are two small ear-like handles. A fun piece to display in the kitchen or to use as a candle holder.
