Elegant and unconventional - this French vignette is anchored by a striking eighteenth-century walnut arbalète commode. The vintage Parisian lithographs animate the scene – the artist Jean-Michel Clauzade (b.1957) was raised in Paris, his father, a boucher. His art is a product of a childhood spent observing la vie quotidienne in Paris. The sculptural vases add texture and harmonious earthy tones. A timeless antique Medici vase brings the garden indoors, sitting atop a Corinthian pedestal.
