Gite Le Pin
A beautifully renovated former bergerie set in the countryside near Villedieu, surrounded by vineyards, olive trees and lavender. In June, the surrounding lavender is in bloom, making the Provençal setting particularly lovely.
Why we like it : Peaceful, private and immersed in the landscape.
Les Sources, Maison d'Hôtes
A charming guesthouse in the heart of Villedieu, just steps from the village’s typical Provençal square with its fountain and plane trees. The setting feels wonderfully local and relaxed, with everyday village life right outside the door.
Why we like it : A lovely way to experience village life, with the warm welcome of its charming French hostess, Rachel.
L'Evêché
This lovely guesthouse is tucked into Vaison-la-Romaine’s perched medieval quarter, among cobbled lanes, stone arches and old Provençal houses. Welcoming guests for some 35 years, it has an intimate, distinctly French atmosphere.
Why we like it: Romantic, atmospheric and full of character, in the heart of historic Vaison.
Le Bouquet de Séguret
Gorgeous freshly renovated rooms, each with their own private garden courtyard, a stunning swimming pool with breathtaking views of the perched village of Séguret. Continental breakfast, lunch, dinner and high tea available.
Why we like it: Peaceful and beautiful - hard to choose whether to sit by the pool or at the stunning terrace.
La Bastide Bleue
An 18th-century Provençal bastide at the foot of the beautiful village of Séguret, with blue shutters, a leafy garden, a swimming pool and just seven rooms. Its warm, intimate atmosphere feels more like a traditional Provençal guesthouse than a hotel.
Why we like it: A lovely restaurant and terrace on site, perfect for a relaxed dinner without having to go anywhere.
Villa Sainte-Anne
A charming stay in the heart of the celebrated Gigondas appellation, run by a local winemaking family. The village, with its restaurants and wine cellars, is within walking distance, while the Dentelles de Montmirail rise just beyond.
Why we like it: An ideal base for experiencing Gigondas, its wines and the surrounding landscape
