Julie Desert Armanville trained in the Vallauris atelier of renowned ceramicist Roger Capron from 1972 to 1982, developing a distinctive artistic language inspired by the traditions of southern France. Characterized by richly textured surfaces, expressive glazing, and warm, highly individual figures, her works celebrate rural life with humor, authenticity, and the unmistakable presence of the maker's hand.
