19th century French trumeau mirror with mint green frame
A trumeau mirror from the early 19th century. Most likely from the Lyon area the mirror itself is oval surrounded by a relatively large running pearl. The four corners are sculpted stucco. The mint green patina has been applied recently - a colour that was most likely similar to the original finish.
The glass is well aged mercury glass and is original. There are cracks and wear consistent with the mirror's age.
