A superb vinegar pitcher or 'vinaigrier' from the nineteenth-century. Made from sandstone with a dark brown glaze. It could have also been used for water and oil. It has a charming silhouette and is in good condition. A lovely piece to display with a collection of antique French pottery.
Condition and wear consistent with age and use.
