This basket-shaped, beaked terracotta pot with green glaze and handle overtop dates from the late-nineteenth to early-twentieth century. It comes from 'Julia's kitchen' in Patricia Wells' home in Provence. Patricia named the kitchen where she holds her cooking classes after her dear friend Julia Child. Julia's oven and many framed photographs of times together decorate the charming farmhouse kitchen. Patricia uses this piece as a practical tool in the kitchen for soaking ingredients or washing and draining with help from the pouring beak. A delightful way to add antique French country kitchen charm to your home.
