This listing is part of the 'At Home with Patricia Wells' collection of epicurean objects and decorative antiques.
This rare collection of six mushroom stone sculptures date from the mid-twentieth century. This delightful and irregular family of champignons have graced the garden of Chanteduc, home of the food lovers Patricia and Walter Wells, for years. Their form is evocative of antique staddle stones.  Patricia recalls unearthing them from the flea market in Paris. The are weathered and worn with some losses to varying degrees - please refer to photographs.

Condition and wear consistent with age and use.
