A family business founded in 1802, Maison Pichon Uzès has been creating hand-made artisan pottery for eight generations over three hundred years. The collection includes:
- 5 pitchers with handles of various shapes and sizes. Note The squattier, lidded pitcher (likely for cream or hot chocolate) is a bit older and exhibits some signs of age where small dots of glaze have pitted to expose the white ceramic beneath. The interior of the triangular beak shows a small fissure in the glaze which occurred during the original firing in the kiln. It is solid.
