An unusually upright olive jar from Tournac, in south west France. Originally used for storing olives, hence the name 'Olivette' in French. Beautifully handmade from clay with a fatigued and weathered green glaze. Tournac vases look wonderful displayed together in groups of varied sizes and also complement Anduze urns. A classic choice for a garden with a French theme.
Condition and wear consistent with age and use.
