This charming set of three French mouth-blown colored glass bottles, dating from the late 19th to early 20th century, features varied tones in hues of blue, green, and amber. Each bottle, crafted from tinted glass, possesses its own distinctive character. The tall amber bottle showcases beautifully bubbled glass and faded inscriptions, while the blue and green bottles display acid-etched engravings, a testament to the quality craftsmanship of their time. The blue bottle has a small chip at its base, and its knife-cut opening shows some chipping along the rim.
Originally used for carbonated beverages, these bottles come from Avignon, Lyon, and Carpentras, as inscribed on their fronts. With their delicate proportions and varied tones, they make a beautiful and nostalgic set, perfect for display on a kitchen windowsill or in a bar area.
Perfect for adding a touch of vintage allure to any décor, these bottles can be artfully arranged on a mantel or shelf as soliflores, enhancing their sculptural presence. Their varied colors and forms create a visually engaging display, capturing light and casting subtle reflections and tones throughout the room.
