This huge French terracotta tian dates from the early 20th Century. Most likely from Toulon, originally used for preparing sausage meat. The glaze is a lovely ocher / yellow. The outside is raw terracotta. This would make a superb cooler for a party filled with ice and drinks.
Condition and wear consistent with age and use.
