A rare and striking Gothic carved chapel roof spire in pink sandstone, shaped as a tapering pinnacle with cross-armed projections and a pointed knop at the top. Likely from Brittany and dating to the 17th or 18th century, it once crowned the ridge of a rural chapel. The warm rose-beige stone displays a granular texture and a beautifully weathered patina from long exposure outdoor, with softened edges and minor losses enhancing its sculptural presence. Now mounted on a modern stone plinth for stability and display, it stands as a powerful architectural accent with timeless character.
As a sculptural object, it suits an entry or stair landing on its plinth, where the vertical silhouette reads like an abstract totem. It brings gravitas to a library or living room beside a limestone fireplace, pairs well with oak, wrought iron, and linen, and balances both rustic and clean-lined interiors. It can also anchor a garden room or covered loggia, introducing authentic architectural character and a sense of enduring age.

Condition and patina consistent with age.
