A simple and appealing French brass standing crucifix, likely dating to the early 18th century. The slender cross is finished with restrained fleur-de-lis terminals and a small INRI plaque, while the figure of Christ is plainly modeled. A skull and crossbones motif appears near the base of the stem, above a softly rounded tripod base with curled feet. Its pared-back detailing gives it a particularly honest, devotional character.
