This superb two-piece Louis XV cartel clock was made in Paris in the eighteenth century. It features hand-carved and hand-painted wood with gilt bronze embellishments, is dark green and decorated with floral motifs. The clock face has Arabic numerals for seconds and Roman numerals for the hours. Currently does not function.

Condition and wear consistent with age and use.
