This large bergère armchair from the Louis XV period (circa 1750) originates from Provence, France. It features gilded wood with floral carvings, a round back with rose cresting, and out-turned cabriole legs. The gilding on the wood is timeworn. A lovely piece for a bedroom, study or living room. Upholstered with taupe velour.
Condition and wear consistent with age and use.
