18th-century Louis XVI bergère armchair - gilt wood and linen

This lovely linen upholstered bergère armchair dates from the eighteenth century, France. This classic Louis XVI bergère armchair features a gilded wood frame with an en chapeau back, carved floral crest, detailed carved and upholstered armrests, and die joins adorning its four petit, fluted feet. It has a comfortable cushion and its professionally redone upholstery features a light, beige linen fabric. Note the original, timeworn gilding as seen in photos. Perfect for a living room or bedroom reading chair.
