This lovely wooden Louis XVI petit nightstand or side table from the eighteenth century has a drawer and cabinet below. The drawer opens smoothly with its loop brass pull and the cabinet opens easily with its slide mechanism and knob (see video). The long square legs taper slightly making it feel light-footed.
Condition and wear consistent with age and use.
