18th century pedestal with grapes - solid timber 40½"

This exceptional solid wooden pedestal dates from the eighteenth-century. It is adorned with spiraling grape vines. The octagonal base was added at some point to provide additional height. This is perfect for displaying a large sculpture or Medici urn.
