18th century Provencal mirror with fruit basket crest 26" x 43¼"
A superb Provencal mirror from the eighteenth-century. The elaborate and fatigued gilt wood frame is decorated with summer fruits and there is a basket shaped pediment. The mirror is a parclose mirror - there is glass integrated into the frame. Some losses and wear - refer to photos.
Note: Mirrors have been photographed facing fabric, a technique that reveals any age spots in the glass. In some cases this may create the appearance of an empty frame, but each mirror is complete except where explicitly stated.

Condition and wear consistent with age and use.
Approx. overall including frame 26" x 43¼" x 3½"
