This stunning large mirror dates from the late eighteenth century. It has a broad, sculptural frame with pretty beading and expressed corners. The mirror is round. This will make a bold statement in both modern and classic interiors. The timber is probably pear tree wood that has a black paint finish.
Note: Mirrors have been photographed facing fabric, a technique that reveals any age spots in the glass. In some cases, this may create the appearance of an empty frame, but each mirror is complete except where explicitly stated.
Condition and wear consistent with age and use.
