Dating from the eighteenth-century, this superb walnut oil jar is handmade from terracotta with a pretty chain link pattern, made by the potter by pressing into the clay with their fingertips. The green glaze is wonderfully timeworn, and there are three high arching handles. Chips and wear - refer to photos.
Condition and wear consistent with age and use.
