Dating from the nineteenth century, France, this Restoration-period rectangular mirror has a light blue painted wood frame embellished with gilt plaster floral decorations. This mirror could be hung both vertically or horizontally. Note the foxing / smoking to the mirror's patina as seen in photos recommending it for decorative use. An elegant antique piece to add a touch of French charm to your interiors.
Note: Mirrors have been photographed facing fabric, a technique that reveals any age spots in the glass. In some cases, this may create the appearance of an empty frame, but each mirror is complete except where explicitly stated.
