1940s French oil-on-canvas still life w/ yellow daisies & quince 28¼" x 24¾"

A wonderful oil-on-canvas floral and fruit still life featuring a happy bunch of yellow daisies and three quinces perched next to the flower's brown vase atop a wooden table. The painting is ensconced in an antique gilded wood frame likely dating from the end of the nineteenth century. The artwork is signed by the artist but is difficult to read. Artist inconnu.

This Provençal piece would be a terrific addition to add a touch of French life to a kitchen or living room wall.
