This stunning sofa dates from the 1940s and was made by Maison Jansen. The design is called a Knole sofa (traditionally an English design) - the armrests can be easily adjusted using the fabric straps. The right-hand side has two positions, the left can be lowered all the way down to recline fully. Wonderfully deep and comfortable. This sofa has been entirely reupholstered with burgundy silk velours and the cushions have been refilled with feather down.
