1950s large French plaster foot sculpture 20¾" x 13¾"

Dating from the 1950s, France, a large sculptural plaster cast study of a man's foot. The piece rests on a fixed rectangular painted plaster base. Surprisingly light for its large scale, due to the piece being made using plaster instead of marble or concrete. The overscale nature of this object will make a strong architectural statement on a bookshelf or table decor in a living room. Note the sculpted elements and lovely patina up close with photos.
