Dating from 1952, a delightful green-and-yellow oval cast iron medal for the 4th place prize winner at a horse-riding show in Vals-les-Bains, France. Vals-les-Bains is a commune in the Ardèche department in southern France. The medal features a metal loop at the top for ribbon to be strung through and worn by the prize winner.
