A refined 1960s Scandinavian coffee table in richly figured rosewood, featuring a sleek rectangular top with softly rounded corners and slender legs with rounded, softly tapered profiles. One end of the table features an inset panel of four ceramic tiles arranged in a graphic grid, decorated in deep blue and charcoal with soft pink accents. Both decorative and functional, this tiled surface serves as an integrated trivet and reflects the bold yet restrained graphic sensibility characteristic of Scandinavian design in the 1960s. The surface displays beautiful wood grain with a warm satin sheen. The table is in very good vintage condition, with light wear to the top and edges consistent with age and use.
Graceful in scale and quietly graphic, the table anchors a living room with understated character. The tiled surface is well suited for placing a teapot or cocktails, making it ideal beside a sofa or in a reading corner.
Light wear.
