Dating from the nineteenth century, this charming, mid-size Biot jar was originally used for storing and transporting olives and olive oil. Stamped by the master potter Rissy Antoine Biot. There is a drainage hole and some light wear - refer to photos. A lovely pot to display a large bouquet (with a waterproof container inside) similar to styling by Pam Pierce.
Condition and wear consistent with age and use.
