Dating from the nineteenth century, this superb French cast iron stoup has a shell-shaped bowl with a bronzine (gold painted) face underneath. The screws (behind) were changed during the twentieth century. A lovely decorative piece that could be repurposed to be a fountain element or wall feature in a garden. It is in good condition.
Condition and wear consistent with age and use.
