A lovely nineteenth-century terracotta pitcher half glazed with a dark green patina. The pottery piece features a bulbous shape with a pinched beak and one large handle. It has a charming ribbed surface with matte patina. It would make a beautiful addition to a collection of pottery or as a vase for dried flowers. If used for fresh flowers, please place a water-tight container inside first. Note one of the unique characteristics of this piece is the circular missing piece of clay on its side. Likely French or European.
