A superb, small enamel sign reading 'Prière de vide la baignoire en s'habillant'. Originally displayed in a city's public bath where the facilities were shared (at the time, it was common to not have a bathroom in one's home) - so the message is to empty the bath quickly while you are getting dressed so that the next person can bathe right after with a minimal wait. Nineteenth-century.
