19th century French camphor trunk

A fine camphor trunk from the 19th century. Originally used for transporting officer's uniforms - naturally protected from insects with the camphor timber. The dovetail joints and copper corner details are beautifully crafted. This would be a lovely piece for storing linens and blankets at the end of a bed or under a window.
