This copper measuring pitcher dates from the nineteenth-century. It is labelled decalitre - the capacity is ten litres. There is a handle and spout. Wonderfully timeworn copper. This could make a lovely choice for storing and displaying firewood and pine-cones beside the fireplace - the patina would reflect the dancing flames beautifully.
Condition and wear consistent with age and use.
