19th-century French country buffet sideboard

This superb French mountain pine buffet or sideboard piece dates from the start of the nineteenth century and features a lovely dual-tone painted patina. The thick rectangular top features a slightly darker painted patina than the higher lower half. The lower half features two paneled doors with pretty, oblong brass handles that turn to open the cabinet via the latch mechanism as shown in photos. 

The internal shelf is fixed and provides great storage for dinnerware pieces, a collection of vases, or linens. The lovely panels flanking each side and in the middle of the doors add symmetry and balance to the piece. This could be outfitted as a lovely media cabinet or the perfect French sideboard to bring a touch of rustic country charm to your home.
