This is a 19th-century French glazed terracotta water fountain, featuring a distinctive yellow glaze typical of pottery from the southern regions of France. The ovoid-shaped body is decorated with two small, looped handles on the sides, and a spout near the base, likely once fitted with a tap for serving water. These types of vessels were commonly used in rural France to store and serve water.

Although missing its lid, this fountain is showcasing a unique shade of pale yellow glaze, and would make a striking decorative accent in a farmhouse kitchen or as part of a vintage pottery collection.
