A lovely nineteenth-century lidded ceramic preserving pot from the Savoy region of France. This pot has a pretty pale yellow exterior with a maroon glaze on the inside. This charming pot is characterized by its lid with knob handle on top and vertical loop handles on either side. This piece would be a delightful addition to an existing collection of pottery or to add a special touch of antique French mountain life to your home.

Note exposed clay can be seen under the yellow glaze at the bottom of the pot and certain instances where there are small chips around the rim at the top.
