This superb French oak draper's table / counter dates from the nineteenth-century. There is a coin slot in the table top where coins were slid through to land in the drawer below. There are two drawers and an open shelf. The legs are beautifully twisted. This would make a fantastic kitchen island with plenty of open storage. There are ink stains in the drawer as well as on on the corner of the counter top. One corner has been rounded while the other three are square.

The beige patina has recently been applied.

Condition and wear consistent with age and use.
